Ho scoperto da poco il dizionario online fornito da Google, e secondo il mio punto di vista e’ migliore rispetto al classico “Translate”: infatti, oltre a fornire la traduzione della parola cercata, fornisce una serie di frasi comuni relative al testo cercato, sia come sinonimo che come concetto espresso. Considerato il mio livello di conoscenza della lingua inglese (che ho imparato leggendo testi di informatica e ascoltando i Red Hot Chili Peppers), mi e’ molto utile nelle chatroom e nei gruppi di discussione che usualmente frequento.
Stamattina ho eseguito una riicerca relativa alla parola “ritardo”, mi serviva una frasetta che esprimesse il concetto di essere in uno stato vecchio rispetto all’attuale, qui l’URL con la query, guardate un po’ l’ultima frase…

This morning, waiting for my coffee, i saw a little bit of athletic from Osaka2007, in detail shot put. Not so exciting, but shot put offers to me a suggestion about sexual dimorphism in the sports.
If you don’t know what it means, sexual dimorphisn is, quoting Wikipedia, the systematic difference in form between individuals of different sex in the same species. In shot put, man has strong, muscular bodies, but woman haven’t the same proportion…
just a little example…
It’s so curious, aren’t it?
